A little bit about my business,
My interests started from a love of creating.  Sewing was introduced to me by my Grandmother. I went on to 4-H sewing and entering the San Mateo County Fairs, San Francisco Wool Contest, the 4-H Dress Revues, and eventually I started
an alterations business in home.  My studies were in General Education with an emphasis in art which included;    Watercolor, painting, drawing, sculpture, color, and Art History.  Working with my hands drew me into the studio arts. I worked as a machine engraver with the Jewelry Union, (after college) on brass and silver bands and plates for plaques, gavels and jewelry. I tried not making mistakes but it was hard! Floral Design became easy for me to do part time. Eventually my love of studio arts and wheel thrown and hand built ceramics became my passion.

Now as the years go on I've picked up my original love of fabric, texture, and construction and 6 years ago began my business of making custom soft goods for the homeThis includes outdoor shade cloth for your most sunny areas and outdoor cushions. I also still sew for indoor windows, pillows, tablecloths, napkins and indoor cushions for benches and chairs. Remaking cushions for worn or outdated furniture is a needed service.

We live just over the hill from the Pacific Coast and outdoor cushions have become my specialty.  I can give you advice on your cushions that need recovering or create new cushions to fit your existing patio furniture with Sunbrella® and Phifertex® products! Thank you for your business!
