Our work is custom made to order or you can choose soft goods we occasionally list for sale. The custom jewelry posted is one of a kind unless listed as a re-order. Re-orders depend on supply availability.
Soft furnishings are made from fabric and used for the home. Drapery, shades, pillows, outdoor, and indoor cushions, placemats, napkins, and tablecloths are some of the common soft furnishings used in this modern day. When custom items are created for clients, generally better quality fabrics, linings and hardware are used in the construction to give a substantial, soft, even, flow for the form and function of that specific fabric and space.

Outdoor Pillows and Cushions that won't fade, mold, or rot

Fabric content and quality choices are important for outdoor or indoor function and wearability.
Sunbrella® acrylic Fabrics are commonly used outdoors in So.
California, Arizona and Nevada heat zones. UV rays and the elements damage polyester fabrics and cause them to fade and rot. Acrylics don't fade, rot or mold. They are washable and made with zippers to make cleaning easy

The Correct lighting for the function of the shade in the room is important. This comes from choice in linings used for the project and the decorative fabric weight.
Skill in construction and using the correct hardware is key. Most of these quality parts are sold as wholesale and can be obtained for any project. it is important to remember that shades can no longer be custom made using cord pulls that don't qualify. The CPSC has an industry standard now stating the cords must be covered or cordless to avoid accidental death.
Drapery is still a great way for having privacy & light management through the use of proper linings. Here in the high temperature states, many different linings are used to keep the sun from penetrating the windows.Room darkening, filtered light and microfiber linings are used instead of cotton, as cotton will rot after time.
The Making of a Shade
Roman shades are now made with mechanisms that accommodate the law. They now have a covering over the back of the shade and spring loaded rods. They also have wands that decrease in length as the shade retracts higher. These can be discussed when shades are considered.
